Make Some A-Peeling Apple Treats from Mr. Chocolate

What’s better than a delicious apple? An apple covered in chocolate and caramel of course! This recipe can be tweaked for whatever flavors and toppings you love best. The folks at Borrowed Bites have a recipe we love. Using Jacques Torres chocolate discs and caramels will put your apples at the top of the heap. You’ll need:

• 4 apples
• 2 cups of chocolate discs
• 11 ounces of caramel
• 4 tablespoons heavy cream

Once you have your apples dipped, add your favorite toppings. We love to chop up our cookies and chocolate covered marshmallows and generously coat each apple.  These are also great for parties where everyone can make their favorite. They have a spooky Halloween version where you can use our melted white chocolate discs for decoration. They recommend serving them within hours of making them. We’ve found this won’t be an issue.
