Fedex Service updates due to COVID-19 outbreak | Posted on April 24, 2020

We recognize the trust you place in us when we deliver to your doorstep, shipping dock or place of business. FedEx and TNT are playing a crucial role in keeping commerce moving and delivering critical relief during the COVID-19 crisis. Temporary suspension of FedEx Express Money-Back Guarantee The impact of COVID-19 is causing local, state, and national governments around the world to issue work and travel restrictions on a daily basis, which are impacting our ability to meet our high standards of service. As a result, Money-back guarantee (MBG) has been temporary suspended for all FedEx Express service till further notice. Temporary signature suspension for delivery For the safety and well-being of our couriers and customers, FedEx and TNT signature guidelines are temporarily adjusted for all shipments within APAC with some exceptions. In efforts to minimize physical interactions, our couriers will now only seek verbal confirmation of delivery for most shipments. This means that your recipients will not be asked to sign for most deliveries, until further notice.


Shipping rates are determined by FedEx, based both on the total weight of the order and the distance the shipment will travel. We ship exclusively with FedEx and offer Expedited and Ground Services only to certain areas of the country. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the Ground option to all destinations because our chocolate is time and temperature sensitive – we want our chocolate to reach you and your gift recipients looking and tasting just as fresh as it does when it leaves our shop.

If you are placing your order after 8:00 am EST, your order will NOT be shipped until the following business day. Orders are NOT shipped on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays during warm weather months to ensure minimal time in transit. Orders placed after 8:00 am Thursday will NOT ship until the following Monday. Shipments are not picked up or delivered during national holidays when FedEx is closed. You will receive email confirmation when your order is shipped.

We currently only ship to the contiguous United States. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or international destinations. We are not responsible for delivery delays experienced by FedEx due to weather or mechanical error and are, therefore, unable to offer refunds for those reasons.  Currently we do not ship to Hawaii.

No Signature Required
All orders are shipped “no signature required ” which means the package will be left at the shipping address, which may mean simply left on a residential doorstep. We are not responsible if the package is lost or stolen or melted after FedEx has completed the delivery.

Temperature Conditions
Shipping chocolate is tricky and nobody likes melted chocolate! If the destination city’s temperature is 75 degrees or warmer, please choose 2-Day or Overnight shipping options. If you have chosen ground shipping, we are not responsible if the chocolates arrive melted and will not offer any refund. Please note that late spring and all through the summer we only offer Expedited shipping to most states.

For your reference, on every product page above the orange button ADD TO CART is a black button ADD A GIFT MESSAGE.  When you click on that you can put all your information needed.  This is helpful when you have multiple gifts to send to different people and need different cards for each item.

Each order includes a packing list of products in the the box, we do not include any paperwork with pricing in our shipments.
