A Spooky Twist on Our Chocolate Chip Cookies
It's the spookiest time of the year - it's Halloween Season! As we get closer and closer to this frightful holiday, we find new ways to spookify our favorite everyday treats. This year we added a spooky twist to our Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix! Here's how you can recreate these scarily delicious treats at home:
Ingredients/ Supplies:
1 Bag of Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
1 Cup of Unsalted Butter
2 Eggs
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract (optional)
1 Spatula
Candy Eyeballs Icing Decorations
Store bought or homemade icing
Melt butter, making sure it is warm, not hot
Beat two eggs, add to the melted butter and mix. Pour the cookie mix into the egg and butter mixture. With a spatula, mix until incorporated.
Form into a log, place in cling wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm.
Remove from the fridge and cut log into 12 even sized pieces.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 13 minutes until edges are golden brown. Let cookies cool down on the baking sheet.
Add Candy Eyeballs Icing Decoration to the cookies using icing as glue.
