To die for

"Hands down the absolute best chocolate chip cookies ever!"

Evette P. (5/5)

"I've used Jacques Torres' chocolate chip cookies recipe that was printed in the nyt for many years. It's the best recipe! I was excited to finally try these cookies straight from the source. Unfortunately they taste like they've been shipped/traveled for a week or so. They are a bit dry. I wonder if the heat sealed plastic packaging is partially too blame. I feel like a better thicker or better packaging could keep the moisture locked in. Overall, I appreciate that they do taste quite natural, no strong preservative or artificial flavors. I'm impressed with the amount of chocolate chips/chunks in these cookies. I think they still make a good gift, and don't expect them to taste like chewy cookies fresh from a local bakery. Whatever you do, make sure to eat them up within a day or two or freeze them because they don't have preservatives."

"I got these for my friend’s mom to share either friends at the rest home. I figured the staff could cut them up and everyone could have a bit with coffee in the afternoon. These are such chocolate goodness!"
